I absolutely love what I do. It is a privilege to be able to the treat the human body. Therefore, I have dedicated my life studying the human body to ensure I can give patient’s the best help I can. I take a patient centred approach to assessment and treatment. This means listening to a patient’s story and assessing and treating them in a way that is meaningful to them. Assessment, treatment and rehabilitation is unique to every person. It may also involve treating many different body systems to achieve long lasting positive change. No one body is the same. This holistic and collaborative approach is about giving freedom back to patient’s so they can find their own innate health again. Helping people to be able to express their own innate health is the greatest outcome of this approach.
I have been fortunate to have been guided onto this path by some amazing people. These people are truly masters at what they do. It is only right to pay respect to them as I try to emulate their passion and drive. Firstly, Andrew Hutton showed me the ease with which the human body can be manipulated effectively with long lasting positive effects. Diane Lee gave me the most powerful assessment tool on earth through the Integrated Systems Model. Lastly, George Stylian opened my eyes to the truth about how the human body works. I am so fortunate to have been given access to the minds of people who dedicated their lives to bettering humanity. This will enable me to do the same.
